Table Manger 2.5 and Excel - 2008/07/13 06:45 Hi
Great program. Thank you.
I have a little question and it might have been answer already, but would anyone know how to import a excel file into Table Manager. Every time I re-save it in a text- tab delimited format, table manage tell me "impossible to create table".
So am I importing the table manager data file in excel wrong or do I need to save the excel file in a different txt format. Any help would be appreciated.

Re:Table Manger 2.5 and Excel - 2008/09/19 23:10 I really don't know. I have the same issue. I downloaded the latest version 2.514 and installed it. Although it says 2.513 afterwards no further problems occurred. Then I installed the latest plugin manager and activated it.

But despite of my efforts I still am not able to import a text file. I hope there will be a solution soon.

Re:Table Manger 2.5 and Excel - 2008/10/05 22:18 It works for me if you first create a table in table manager with the fields you want, add a dummy row of data, then export it to the csv txt file. DO NOT OPEN IT IN NOTEPAD by accident or it will break the file. Open it in Excel (works in 2007 for me), do your edit, then save again as a CSV. This usually works for me...

Make sure not to use any wierd characters or anything like that either.

It works for me too (Excel upload) but I save my excel file as txt tab delimited.
